The Agricultural Cooperative Meliki was founded in 1928 by Cultivators of   Meliki.

   Since  then and until now it records a constant rising course, following developments in agricultural economy, investing at the same time in the fields of packaging, production, alteration and trading.

So, in 1990 it constructs a packaging room  and refrigerators for the traffic of about20.000 tons of fresh products of its producers - members, which it disposes mostly in foreign markets, but also in internal consumption.

   In 1996 it operates a frozen fruit and vegetables altering unit.

   The following year, together with Cooperatives Aliakmon and Mesi they found the conglomeration of AL.M.ME. and they buy the factory of ALBENA, for the exploitation of industrial peaches and pears of their producers - members.
